Hi I'm Seth

I grew up in Utah. I joined the Army when I was 17. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah. Right now I'm a college kid learning Mandarin Chinese. My goal is to be a linguist. I'm a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve. I served a mission for the church and now am involved to a small degree in politics. I love western dancing and being active. My life is my testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but was truely converted when I was fourteen. We had an activity with the young men and young women's group where we learned a lot about Joseph Smith and the history of what the early saints went through. The Spirit touched my heart and that night I asked the Lord if Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I felt the Spirit touch my heart greatly.--yes. As I've followed the commandments and counsel of the living prophets, I've been blessed greatly and have seen many miracles from it.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a college student. I live the gospel by living it. In my personal and public life I keep the commandments and try to remember who I am. I think that the things we learn about on Sunday and preach in church are not just for Sunday. The idea is that we live it all the time. I know the church is true as well as the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a result, I know that one day I will be held accountable for how I've lived my life in word and deed.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will ask about your beliefs in God, then explain how the church of Jesus Christ was once lost and later restored through the grace of God. This is what sets us apart from the rest of the world. Show more Show less
