Hi I'm Russ

I choose life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of eight. Mom and Dad, two older brothers, a younger brother and sister and of course my dog Ringo. Always been very close to the family doing everything from boating at Lake Powell to shooting hoops in the gym. I have always been said to be a mamma's boy but at the same time been very close to my dad. He being my father, teacher, coach and hero. Always been competing with my bro's on the basketball court and the motorcycle track. As a result I love sports and I love the outdoors. I take pride in my Grandpa's old jeep that I loved to take up the mountains accompanied with my dog Ringo. I value all of my relationships with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have experienced Christ in my life and seen others experience Christ in their lives. It is an amazing thing to have those type of experiences. To know that we can become better and we can be healed. I seek to better myself and I seek for that healing that can only come because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice. Through that healing we can make changes in our life that increase our happiness. I am a Mormon because of that happiness which comes through the healing of Christ.

How I live my faith

At this time in my life I have the wonderful opportunity to live my faith by sharing it everyday to everybody as a full time missionary! It has been a phenomenal experience which I will be forever grateful for. I have met so many people and have made so many memories. By helping others to come closer to Christ I have experienced so much happiness and had so much fun. The Gospel is fun! I love teaching and helping others. Something I hope to continue to do for the rest of my life. That's what Christ did, He taught people and He helped people, because He loved people. Through living the Gospel we experience Christ as our teacher and helper. That's what the Gospel is about. Becoming more like our Savior Jesus Christ.
