Hi I'm Annie

I have lived all over the United States. I am a music teacher and a gymnastics coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a music teacher, singing coach, piano instructor, choral director, composer, arranger, and songwriter. I love teaching people and I love writing music for those I teach! I am also an avid gymnastics fan, participating in the sport as a youth and coaching as an adult. My husband and I are the parents of one son and one daughter. We enjoy traveling, cooking, college football, live music, and beautiful weather.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I absolutely LOVE my church. It is THE most incredible thing I have ever discovered. I believe in God the Eternal Father. He is the Father of our spirits and we lived with Him before we were born into this life. In my opinion, our greatest yearnings deep down are tied to being close to Him again. I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who atoned and was resurrected for all mankind and who is our advocate before the Father. His power to heal the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional is unsurpassed. NO ONE is greater and NO ONE can help you more in this life and eternity. I believe in the Holy Ghost, who is both a divine comforter and a Spirit-to-spirit witness of what is real and true about God and existence...and what is fallacy. I believe that God hears and answers prayers. I believe that all oppositions in life have purpose and meaning. I believe in faith and repentance. I believe in forgiveness. I believe in the word of God. If you are looking for peace, you will find it there. I love the Lord with everything that I have and am. He is the reason I'm the person I am today.

How I live my faith

I believe in living my faith in every facet of my life. To me, that means following the Savior and trying to do what He would do in whatever situation I am in. Whether at church, teaching in the schools, coaching gymnastics, meeting a stranger on the street, or interacting with my husband and children, I try to be kind, not critical, and see the best in others. I KNOW that God loves me and I try to remember that He loves everyone the same, and has asked me to do likewise, under any and every circumstance.
