Hi I'm Greg Madson

I am grateful for and believe in Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I work as the assistant greens superintendent. In the off season I enjoy cross country skiing in the back country. I have a great family with a wife and five kids. I enjoy sports especially watching my kids play or playing myself. I find life challenging by striving to do what is right and trying to help others without getting involved with alot if the thrills of life. I served a mission to New Zealand in 1986 and that mission really shaped me and my testimony for my entire life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church. My parents were both born into LDS families although my mothers family was not very religious. Both of my parents families have strong ties to the early church. Those things don't make my testimony, but my ancestors sacrifices for me cause me to work harder to not let them down. I believe in Jesus Christ and know that by living his teachings we can be happier. I also know that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are designed by God to give us the greatest understanding of the Plan of salvation. The programs of the church are also inspired by God to give us the best chance to return back to father in Heaven and serve our brothers and sisters. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of these things.

How I live my faith

Despite my lack of talents or strengths, I trust that as I do my best to live the gospel God will help me serve my fellow man as he wants me to. I make mistakes but try to do better and know that because of the atonement I can overcome and be forgiven of them. I live my faith trusting in the power of God and trusting in the good in others.
