Hi I'm Peder

Born in New York, raised in San Francisco bay area, lived all over USA and I love my Savior!

About Me

Hi my name is Peder pronounced Peter but with a d, however many do call me Pedder. It is Denmark heritage. I have lived all over the USA presently am living as a desert rat in New Mexico by the mexican border. I love to windsurf. I am now becoming aquainted with the Gila, its customs and history. I am a entrepreneur and as of 2011 changed my course of a small business regional filter company to network marketing in a category creating field of nutrigenomics or "Nrf2". I am very passionate about it. "LifeVantage" is the company who I represent. I believe the product "Protandim" is creating the first health and wellness business "Maverick Wave" in the 21st century.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a 4th/5th generation Mormon with great roots from the Danes, Swiss, and English people. However even with these super roots the conversion process to see what I have been blessed with, was not an easy process. I do not know what kind of person I would have been without the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is very dear to my heart and has magnified my ability to understand the Old and New Testament, especially Isaiah. I love the Lord! I love the work that He has for me to do. I want to follow Him exactly. He lives and I will always strive to remember Him. I trust Him implicitly. I cannot do this life without Him by my side. Joseph Smith and our prophet today Thomas S Monson have been chosen as voices for the living Christ. Each prophet leads us to return to our Heavenly Father's kingdom, just like Moses was directed to lead the children of Israel back to their home. Thank you for taking the time to read my humble testimony! From a loving brother in Christ, Peder

How I live my faith

I have been a scout leader (Cub and Scout) with our youth for almost 30 years. I have been involved with Toastmasters, Optimist Club, Chamber of Commerce. I have helped to support and sponsor private schools and local boys and girls clubs with some great "duck" races on the Mississippi river. I have refurbished an historical building in a previously drug invested part of town. I look to become involved with the community, to mingle and enjoy activities and events with the local ministers, churches, residences and businesses here in Deming.

What is the priesthood?

Peder
The priesthood is the authority to act in God's name. I have been given the authority by one having the authority. I can trace it right back to Jesus Christ, I am actually a 10th generation. Our prophet today has all the keys and priesthood authority to lead and operate Christ's church today on this earth. It is a humbling responsibility to have this authority, use it wisely and as often as is needed to serve my fellow man and use it in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ. Priesthood in and of itself is LOVE. A binding principal of learning and exacting principals of relationships that entails all of God's creations. Each of us are trying to master greatest relationship like Christ did, that being the one with Father in Heaven. "Not my will but thy will"! Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Peder
I have had the opportunity to perform many proxy baptisms for the dead. My personal ancestry, because I am a 4th/5th generational Mormon, has been done. However a very dear non member friend just gave me over 20,000 names to do. He has given permission to the church to do all this work. He understands the spirit of Elijah that hearts of the children will turn to their fathers as this has been his passion all his life, since his earliest memory. He is now 70 years of age. Baptism needs to be done by one having authority. This was exemplified by Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist, who was the only one having authority on the earth at the time of His baptism. By getting baptized for someone else affords them the opportunity to be taught the true and exact gospel of Christ and make a better informed decision, if they did not have one during this life. An extremely fair and just way to preside over His sheep, as He is our ultimate judge. Show more Show less
