Hi I'm Robyn

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am proud of my heritage. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have been married for ten years. I have three kids. My son has a mood disorder and one of my daughter's was born with Down syndrome. I am currently a student working on my BSW (Bachelor of Social Work). My hobbies include learning, spending time with family, scrapbooking, playing games, visiting new places, and helping others who have children that need extra special attention.I love spending time in the outdoors especially the mountains. I love being a mom and spend most of my time teaching my children to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Utah. When I turned 8 I was baptized. I learned to love the Lord through my Young Women years and through Seminary. I gained a strong testimoney that Christ died for me and helps me throughout my life. I have recieved many miracles of life when I was so close to death. I had blood clots in my lungs twice. The doctors say I'm lucky, but it isn't luck. His healing power is real and to deny Him would be a sin I never want to commit. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church. I have felt the spirit bear testimony to me of its truthfulness. I'm reminded every day of the blessings He gives to me and my family. I cannot and will not deny the truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church on Sunday. We, also, have Family Home Evening where we teach our children Christ's words. I live my faith by following my leaders. I am teaching my children through example to care for others and set an example for those around us. We were counciled when we got married to have FHE, Family Planned Activities, Scripture study, and Family Prayer. We aren't perfect and are working on being more dilligent with the last two. We aren't perfect, but we are trying to do our best with what we have been given!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Robyn
I believe with all my heart that President Monson is a Prophet of God on this earth today. He leads and guides us. I view him as a spokesman for God. God communicates through the Prophet. I have prayed and felt the Holy Ghost bare witness to me that we have a living prophet on this earth today. This church is the same as it was in Moses' time. He communicated with people of old then why not us? Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Robyn
The things that tell me there is a God is in what surrounds us. The air we breath, the food we eat, etc. I see God in the eyes of my children and their spirits. I see Him in the mountain streams or the wind rustling through the trees. I know God is real because of the healing my body recieves when it is sick and afflicted. He provides for us so many things that couldn't happen without a higher being. Show more Show less
