Hi I'm Tamara

I'm a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town with three older brothers. I am the youngest child and only daughter. I graduated with a bachelors degree in geology and physics then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently working on a Masters degree in geophysics! I love my rocks, my family, and the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it is true! I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I strive to keep the commandments of God and I have seen many blessing come into my life as a result.

How I live my faith

As a college student I worked with other young women to strengthen faith in Christ and serve God's children. As a missionary I taught Christ's Gospel. Now I try to become better each day, more like my Savior, Jesus Christ.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Tamara
Men and Women are equal. While men and women may do things differently and have different roles we know that our Heavenly Father loves all of His sons and daughters equally! There is no "cookie-cutter" that defines what a Mormon woman is. We are all unique, but we love the Lord and try to help in His work here on the Earth. Show more Show less
