Hi I'm Grant

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

While growing up I spent a lot of time moving around with my family. I lived in England, Australia, South Africa, and now the U.S. I lovee being active and like being outside! My favorite sports are Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse. When I don't have anything to do, I like to go outside and play frisbee or soccer with my friends. I also enjoy reading and video games. One of my favorite things to do is to go out to the lake and ride my jet ski with my friends. I have currently completed my first year of college. I took mainly general education classes because I still don't know what I want to major in yet! I'm thinking about possibly becoming and engineer. If I can get through the math classes!

Why I am a Mormon

I guess a huge reason I'm a Mormon is because I have felt the Spirit in church and because of that I know that this is Christ's church. I studied, thought, and prayed about the Book of Mormon and I know that it, like the Bible, teach us that Jesus Christ is our Savior. They are both Holy Scripture. I've been to Mormon churches in many different countries around the world. Everywhere that I've gone I've felt the Spirit when I go to the church. I love it! Over the years I've had many different opportunities to see and experience other religions. I'm a Mormon because it has brought the most peace and happiness into my life. I know that this is Christ's church. I know that it is through Him that we can find the most joy in our lives. His gospel brings purpose and meaning to my life. I know that Christ cares about us. He's given us the Bible and the Book of Mormon to show us how to be happy in our lives. Because He loves us, He's given us a Prophet to lead and guide us in these days.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm a missionary. But the biggest way that I live my faith is practicing it everyday. I try to live my life the way Christ lived His. I try my best to love those around me and help them in anyway I can. One of the biggest things that has changed my life is prayer. I've seen the Lord bless me so many ways. I pray everyday and thank my Heavenly Father for the blessings I've been given and for my Savior. I also love to read the scriptures!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes! Since the creation of the world God has had prophets. We see them all over the Bible. Just like in the Bible, we have a prophet on the Earth today. Like Moses, he helps lead God's people and show them God's will and how we should live our lives. We firmly believe that God is the same today, yesterday, and forever. God had prophets in the Bible, both before Jesus Christ and after Him. We believe he still has prophets today. Show more Show less
