Hi I'm Nic

I grew up in Denver Colorado, I am a College Graduate, I write songs, and play in a band called Good Manor, and I am mormon.

About Me

Ever since I remember I have always had an ear for music. When I was fifteen years old I actually sat down and taught myself the guitar and wrote my first song. Since then I have probably written over 50 songs, and I love the challenge that that brings. I also grew up playing sports. I love, love, love sports. I played every sport you could think of growing up. In High School I played one year of High School soccer than quit to play Rugby the next 3 years. I also played Tennis and Basketball. I still enjoy finding a pick up game of basketball and playing a saturday morning Tennis match with friends. After High School I was called by a living Prophet to serve in the Washington Seattle area, where I labored for 24 months (2 years) preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After returning home from my 2 year mission, I studied Family Life at Brigham Young University. And currently I am applying to several graduate programs around the country to get a Masters Degree in Social Work.

Why I am a Mormon

My dear friends reading this, I have chosen to live by the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints because of my experience I had when I was 18 years old reading the Book of Mormon. It was a very sunny fall day early in the morning. I decided to get out the Book of Mormon and actually really read it with a purpose. I wanted to understand why others of my faith were constantly baring testimony of the Book, and stressing the importance of reading and praying about it. I was reading in Alma 32: 27-28 when I had this overwhelming feeling of clarity, power, truth, and peace that filled my soul. This powerful feeling lasted for probably only about 30 seconds to a minute but for some reason it was so powerful and so clear that I remember feeling even to this day 1. The Book of Mormon was a true book, 2. That somehow God knew me, that he loved me and that he was concerned for me as his child, and 3. I now only had the desire to do good, and share this experience with others. Since this experience I have been on Mission for my church where I labored for 24 months (two years) baring my testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, inviting others to come unto Jesus Christ by reading it, pondering it, and praying to know if it is a true book. I testify to everyone reading this that Jesus is the Christ the Savior of the World. It through his Atonement that we can be clean from sin, sanctified and purifiend to live with him, his Father, and our families again. I testify that Prophet Joseph Smith was called by God to restore Jesus Christ here in these Latter-days and that the Book of Mormon is evidence of that. I promise anyone who is serious and willing to find out if the Book of Mormon is true will gain a manifestation by the power of the Holy Ghost that it is true. Now go and do!

How I live my faith

Having Faith, Repenting, Being baptized by the ordinance of the Holy Sacrament each week, striving to listen to promptings of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End.
