Hi I'm Kim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother but now have an empty nest. Now my kids are having the kids and I get the great part of playing grandma. I love water aerobics, like to sew, especially quilt tops for my sister to quilt. I like to read, my husband & I are building a solar oven.

Why I am a Mormon

Our Heavenly Father created the perfect plan for me to grow and progress through this life to be able to live in Heaven with Him someday. AND this is true for all of my family too. This gives me great comfort and helps me know that The Church of Jesus Christ is the true church.

How I live my faith

When my grandchildren come over, I love to have story time with them and include stories from the scriptures and other stories that may tie in to what we have been doing that day. I feel the spirit often during times like this. I love the feeling that my beliefs are passed down to them through these special times.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormon's live in a practical way. Like keeping the important things like family first in our lives. Also we teach skills from parenting skills to Boy Scouts, to the importance of education for youth and adults. Of course all of this is done with the over-arching principle of love or charity for all of our fellow men in refining our character. As we do these things we come closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
