Hi I'm Angela

I'm a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family was baptized when I was 12 years-old. While I have spent most of my life as an active member of the LDS Church, I know the feeling of rejection from family and friends who don't understand the choices I make. I am happily married with two daughters and a car that breaks down at least once a year. I started college at 17 and graduated with a bachelors degree in journalism and a cluster in technical writing. I enjoy writing and I am finishing work on my first novel. Most of all I love my family. I love being with them and hanging out together. My faith has been tested but I know that there is no where else that I will find the peace that I have found in the gospel. My end goal is to be with my family forever and I know that I can achieve that by living a good life and having faith in Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

To sum it up: I want to be with my family forever. I know that by living gospel standards, by keeping myself pure I can be with them forever. I have found more happiness in making choices that may seem old-fashioned to people than I ever could living like everyone else. I truly believe in being a good person and treating other people with respect. I think people should be valued and I have found that acceptance in the gospel. While people aren't perfect the gospel is and I love it's teachings.

How I live my faith

I serve as a primary teacher for 8-11 year old kids. I enjoy teaching the younger kids fun stories from the Bible and Book of Mormon. I also enjoy visiting sisters in our congregation. It's a fun way to get out and make new friends and serve others with friendship and quality time.
