Hi I'm Scott

I have a family that means the world to me. We currently live in the state of Texas. I work as a dentist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent a lot of time in school so far and am glad to be done and practicing dentistry. I have a wife and three kids. We have managed to live in different parts of the country and have enjoyed meeting so many different people. I enjoy sports and probably spend too much time following my teams. I would like to learn more about gardening, woodworking, and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel makes sense to me. I was raised in the church by wonderful parents that taught me how to listen to the Holy Spirit and make good choices. I feel good when I am actively trying to follow the Savior's teachings and helping others. I know that Christ lives. I know that the His church was restored to the earth by revelation to a living prophet. My Heavenly Father knows and understands me and wants me to return to him. He has created a plan for me and my family that we can be happy and live together forever. I continue to go to church and live by Christ's teachings because I refuse to sell myself short. This life is meant to test us. I will do what I need to do to pass the test. I know that we have been given the guidebook to make that happen. I do not have all of the answers and continually make silly mistakes, but I know that I feel peace and happiness when I repent and try to do better the next time. It will all be worth it in the end. My job is to live each day to its fullest and work harder to be more like Christ.

How I live my faith

It is my privilege to work with the missionaries in our congregation. I meet with the missionaries on a regular basis to understand their needs and then coordinate their efforts with the leaders and congregation. I get to go out with the missionaries and help teach the gospel to people that are interested in learning about the church. I also teach a class on Sundays about the basic parts of the gospel.
