Hi I'm Leonardo

I'm a Hispanic Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico and grew up in Southern California. Some of the things I like to do for fun include Paintball, Soccer, Snowboarding, Off-roading, etc. I got married in 2010 just recently became a father to my sweet daughter. I am also working full time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are already members of this church. There came a time when I wanted to know for myself if what I was taught as a child is true. I also thought that if God wanted me to know about him, he would not hide what he wanted me to know. I asked him if this church was his, and if it was the same church restored from it's ancient days. I also asked him to help me recognize his answer to this question. When I took finding the truth seriously I got my answer. After I prayed, when ever I read the Book of Mormon or went to church, a feeling of peace, comfort, and a "warm fuzzy feeling" as if it coming from my heart came over me. I only experienced this unique feeling at church or while reading the scriptures. When I knew and recognized that this was my prayer's answer, I started to receive this witness from the Holy Ghost more often to verify the truth of other other gospel principles. I have since then learned how important it is to know how to listen to the Holy Ghost and follow his guidance. It is my hope that you would chose to listen to God's wisdom given to you through the Holy Ghost so that you would know for yourself the truth of this Church's message: the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I go to work and take care of my wife and daughter as any good person should. How I live my faith is actually quite simple to understand. I just go to church on Sunday and apply what I learn there to my life. I read the scriptures, and listen to God's Prophet just to name a few. I often look within myself to see what I need to repent of and apply Jesus Christ's atonement.
