Hi I'm David

I was born and grew up in Idaho, milked cows, picked taters, served mission, got married, worked Civil Service, love my family.

About Me

After 39 years in the civil service, traveling abroad, and to 5 states in the US, my wife and I are sharing our good fortune. It is our good fortune to know our Heavenly Father and His Son and to know of their plan and love for all His children. In my youth and childhood I have milked cows, hauled hay, gathered eggs. And I have spent my adult life as an accountant and financial manager. We have 6 children and a growing number of grandchildren. They are living in Florida, Idaho, Arizona, California, and Illinois. We recently returned from a senior couples mission in New Jersey Morristown Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We invite all to "come unto Christ," who has restored His Church and priesthood authority and power to earth in these latter-days.

Why I am a Mormon

My father and mother and their parents back to my 5th generation were Latter-Day Saints. My children and their children are all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We know this Church is true and that it is and was organized by revelation. Jesus Christ is the literal Head of this, His Church, and the Kingdom of God on the earth. He lives and His Father, our Father in Heaven, lives. They each have a body of flesh and bones. We lived with them as God's spirit sons and daughters before we were born. These truths were known in ages past and have been restored in modern times. No other religion teaches the true doctrine of Christ, that we must have faith in Christ, repent, be baptized by immersion for the remission of sins, receive the Holy Ghost, by the laying on of hands and keep His commandments to the end of our lives. I love Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. That is why I am a Latter-Day Saint, or member of the Church. Paul the Apostle referred to members of the Church as "saints" (Eph. 2:19). Members of Christ's true Church in the latter-days are called "Latter-Day Saints."

How I live my faith

I strive daily to repent. I love the Lord. I love my wife. I try to be a better man for her and for the Lord. We volunteered to serve a full time mission together as Senior Couple missionaries. We follow in the foot steps of our parents and siblings who have also served as Senior Couples in addition to serving missions as young men and women. Because we accept the scriptures literally we know that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ must be preached to all the world. That is why we serve as missionaries to help accomplish this great work and prepare the world for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ who will reign personally on the earth.
