Hi I'm Mary.

I'm a special education teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a special education teacher. Education is one of my passions. I LOVE being a teacher and I LOVE learning. I always have fun while watching and playing sports like basketball, volleyball and football. I also enjoy the theater including musical performances and plays. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I'm a pretty normal girl living a pretty normal life.

Why I am a Mormon

Each day I become more converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven of my sins and that I can be comforted and guided in my life. As I read the Book of Mormon, I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost. That influence brings me peace and joy but it also helps me recognize the need to align my life to the will of my Heavenly Father. I feel so blessed to have been taught about my Savior since I was a little girl. I've searched, pondered, and prayed to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is the true church upon the face of the earth and I have received a witness that it is - Jesus Christ himself established his gospel here on the earth and it has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that we have prophets today that are the mouthpiece of God here on the earth. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I know that this is His church on the earth in our day. I believe that the family is ordained of God. One of the most basic doctrines in the gospel of Jesus Christ is families can be together forever. Although my family is far from perfect, it is a comfort to know that our Heavenly Father has created a plan for us to have successful families. I know that as families live the teaching and doctrine of Christ, they can be together forever and have success here in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of the Savior. I believe that building relationships with other people is on the of most meaningful ways to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Actively serving others through visiting them in their homes or supporting them during difficult times has strengthened my faith and brought me closer to Christ.
