Hi I'm Michael

I was born and raised in Utah. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Utah native. I love living here in Utah. I have an Associate's Degree in General Studies. I recently married my best friend. I love reading and traveling. Music is a passion of mine. I am a Disney fanatic. That is just a little bit about me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were already members of the LDS church, so I grew up in the church. I was baptized when I turned eight years old. I have always loved being a member of the LDS church. But I did gain a full testimony of the gospel until I attended LDS Seminary classes in high school. It was during these classes that I came to know that Joseph Smith truly is a prophet of God, and that through him, the Lord restored the fullness of the gospel to the earth. I proud of my membership in the church, and it gives me joy to know that I can be with my family forever. Especially with my wonderful wife. Throughout my life, the question has been brought to my mind of why I am a Mormon. Everytime I think about it, I come back to the same conclusion; that I am a better person because of my membership in the church and that it just feels right.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my callings in my local ward and through temple attendance. I have had various opportunities in the church to serve. Most recently, I was on my ward's activities committee. While in this position, I was able to help plan a christmas dinner/service project for my ward. I have also been able to serve as the choir director for my student ward. This was a great opportunity to share my testimony through music. My wife and I also strive to live the teachings of the church in all that we do.
