Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a student and a wife. I write, design, and blog. I love photography and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm at student studying Mass Communications and close to finishing up my degree. I hope to go into photography and one day have my own studio. My husband will be graduating this spring in Electrical Engineering. We've been married for almost two years this coming May and love spending time together. No children yet, but we've been through a tough miscarriage. We're praying to be blessed with children in the future. Right now, we enjoy everything else that life has to offer. We take each day at a time, looking for joy every single moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my family and I want the best for me and for them. Being a Mormon is so much more than a lifestyle, it is knowing that you can have an eternal family. It's the peace of knowing that no matter what happens, you'll see your family again. Death will not break your family apart. Nothing else will bring your family closer than living the gospel of Jesus Christ. When Christ is our foundation we can hold everything else together. The simple answers to life are found in the principles of the gospel. I would encourage for anyone to learn more even if it's just because you want more for your family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by the choices that I make. I currently help teach teenagers in the area that I live in. I know that they are counting on me to live a good life and to be a good example. I prepare lessons for every Sunday to help them understand more about the scriptures, words of the prophets, and apply it to their lives. This will help the youth to gain faith while they are still young and will prepare them for the challenges they may face.
