Hi I'm Rose

I'm studying geology at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband Anthony and I have been married a little over a year and do our best to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. We love cooking, singing, playing piano, playing racquetball, reading, and being with our families. We are both going to school and loving it (when it isn't finals week;)

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a unique religion. I have always loved that we are asked to find the truth for ourselves. We don't have to follow blindly. I have taken this challenge to ask if the church is true and I have been told in my heart that it is. No matter what others say or do, they can't take the truth from my heart. I know that Jesus died for me and because of him I can live with Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

My husband and I try our best to live the gospel by praying and reading scriptures together. We try to help those around us feel the love of the Savior. We aren't perfect but we always try again! I teach the young woman in our area and love sharing my testimony with the youth. Making sure I remember Christ everyday and serving others is a big part of how I show my Heavenly Father that I love him.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Mormons do believe that Jesus Christ is the literal son of our Heavenly Father. He came to earth, lived performing miracles, and died so that all of us could be forgiven of our sins and live with God again. He is our Savior and the center of the gospel. Everything that we do in the church is done in order to bring us to Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
