Hi I'm P.C.

I'm a husband, father, Bulldog, diver, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, a father, a Georgia Bulldog, a builder, a scuba diver and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I credit four vigilant stake missionaries who independently worked with my mom and dad who were living on separate coasts, but investigating the church at about the same time. These missionaries were instrumental in their conversion to the gospel, and subsequently, I was born of these two goodly parents and raised in an active Mormon household. My testimony of the gospel has been the fruit of my willingness to share it throughout my life. As a called and ordained missionary for the church in Fresno, California, I came to know the truth of the gospel by the Spirit of God.

How I live my faith

As a husband and father my most important responsibility is to my family. I work hard to provided them a home wherein they can feel comfort and love. Together as a family we make it a priority to read daily from the scriptures, and to pray together often. Today I have the great opportunity of working with the priesthood in my congregation. As an ordained High Priest, I am privileged to render temporal and spiritual service to all whom I am called to serve.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

P.C.
Eternal Life is different than immortality. The bible teaches that in Adam all die, and that in Christ are all made alive. Christ's atonement has made it so that all mankind will be resurrected from the dead. In that sense, we will all live eternally; however, this immortality is not the goal of this human existence. We aim to live eternally in the presence of our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. That is eternal life. It can only be obtained by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

P.C.
Mormons believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Father, and the savior of all mankind. He is central to the Father's eternal plan of happiness, and it is only through Him that we find the way back to our Father in Heaven. In the Book of Mormon, one prophet taught that "...with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay, and shall go forth amongst men, working mighty miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases. And he shall cast out devils, or the evil spirits which dwell in the hearts of the children of men. And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary." I believe that Christ did come. That He is the man of mighty miracles spoken of in the scriptures. That He is the way, the truth and the life. Show more Show less
