Hi I'm Eric

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology. I'm a Instructional Designer for a nonprofit organization. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading and learning new things, and occasionally going on a road-trip.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is Christ’s church on the earth today. This knowledge didn’t come all at once, but it has come little by little throughout my entire life. As I have taken time to study the Bible and the Book of Mormon I have felt of the Saviors love. I have seen how those stories from thousands of years ago apply to me in my every day life. As I have exercised faith by praying to my Father in Heaven I have felt and seen answers to my prayers. As I have made personal efforts to repent of my sins I have felt forgiveness and peace. And as I have tried to follow the example of my Savior I have felt joy and happiness. On a continual basis I am amazed at the blessings and goodness of our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. To most my life doesn’t appear to be anything grand or amazing, yet I feel abundantly blessed by the mercy, grace and love of my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As I try to follow the example of the Savior by giving service to others I often find myself being blessed by the service I give. As I have had opportunities to teach gospel lessons and testify of Jesus Christ I often find my faith being strengthened. I’ve had the opportunity to teach the principles of the gospel to children, teenagers and adults. I know that the gospel is for everyone! God is aware of us at every point in our lives and no matter how old or young we are we all have opportunities to grow, improve and come closer to our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ.
