Hi I'm Lark

I'm a Mormon. I have been a member all of my life.

About Me

I am the mother of 7 children and live in Arizona. I have eleven grandchildren who live farther away than I would like. I enjoy gardening and reading books.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, I have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. It is the most important thing in my life. I am grateful to know that my family can be together forever. I believe that if we are baptized and keep the commandments, and if we make sacred covenants with our Heavenly Father, we can return and live with Him again. It is important to me to be able to live eternally with my husband and our children. I am grateful for the teaching of Jesus Christ and the example he set for us. I believe that if we follow his example we can be happy in this life even when life gets hard and we have trials.

How I live my faith

I attend church in a small ward. My job on Sunday is to work in the nursery with the little children between 18 months and 3 years old. I love going to church each Sunday because it is wonderful to watch them grow so quickly. I teach little important lessons to them about how to be kind to others and share their smiles. They learn to share their toys and help others. They also learn about Jesus, and and are taught that He knows and loves them.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

We believe that when we go to the temple we are entering the house of the Lord. It is a sacred place and we want to keep it that way. If we keep ourselves clean and obey the commandments then we are able to go to the temple and make promises to our Heavenly Father that can let us live with our families for eternity. I wish everyone would live so that they can enter the temple. Show more Show less
