Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up in Wyoming, I'm a college student and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I swam in high school and really learned a lot about hard work and dedication during those four years.I love to go boating! I'm not very good at water skiing but it is something I want to become better at! I also love to fish. I enjoy playing the piano, however not in front of a lot of people. I love my family and all that they do for me! I often times take what they do for me for granted, this is something I need to work on.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church upon the earth today! I know that my older brother Jesus Christ, died for my sins, that I might one day live with him again. I know that without Joseph Smith, the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would not be here on the earth today. I know that families can be together forever through Heavenly Father's plan and with the sealing power of the Priesthood. I'm greatful for how blessed I am for living a life where I can have the Holy Spirit to be with me always. I know that The Book of Mormon is another testament of our Savior Jesus Chirst, and I also believe the bible testifies of our Savior. I know that through prayer our questions can be answered, not always how we want them to be put in a way that can help us succeed in this life. I'm so greatful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

How I live my faith

I grew up in a pretty small town where you could say that you basically knew everyone. At times however this was a struggle because there were not many teenagers with the same standards that I strived to live. My senior year of high school, I was asked to be the president of the seminary program. Seminary is a program that high school students can take to learn more about the history, and teachings of the LDS church. I wasn't really sure at first that I wanted to accept this invitation. I am so happy that I did however. I was able to learn more about the students in my high school (and seminary program of course). I was able to learn leadership skills and create lasting friendships. Now that I am in college I find strenght in attending institute (which is like seminary only for college students). It is amazing the power that good friends can have on me!
