Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my sweetheart for 26 years. We are the parents of four great children, and grandparents to two. I teach high school French. I love to sew and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the LDS Church. While I was in college, I really wanted to know for sure if what I felt about the church and its teachings were true. I reread the Book of Mormon with the specific intent of knowing if it was truly the word of God. I recieved a clear and wondrous answer to my study and prayers. I have never looked back since that time. I served a mission in France and have witnessed the sweet direction of the spirit in so many instances, as a missionary, as a parent, as a a teacher. I feel the constant presence of the spirit in my life.

How I live my faith

I recently served as a leader with the Young Women's program in my area. I had the opportunity to work with these wonderful young women and watch them learn and grow in the gospel. I'm currently teaching a Sunday School class to the youth who are 14-18 years old. I'm also a Visiting Teacher, which means I have a few women that I visit to make sure they're doing well.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

We believe that the purpose of life is to grow in understanding as we strive to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. We do this through earthly experiences and making righteous choices. Show more Show less
