Hi I'm Will

I was born in Idaho, raised in Vegas, and I love to draw. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is William (friends call me 'Will') and I'm a Mormon. I'm an artist; I like to draw, write, do just about anything that allows me to create and express myself. I aspire to get into cartoons--er, that is, get into the animation industry, though people tell me I'm very animated. I'd like to either do the animating, or the voice acting, or both! I also LOVE to watch movies and play video games.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in this church with my parents, I feel that I'm truly converted to this gospel. I feel so blessed to have been raised in this family. There was a time that I wasn't sure about my faith, but then something interesting took place. In Single's Ward, or the local congregation for young single adults, the Bishop issued a challenge in the fall of 2009 to read through the entire Book of Mormon by the end of the year. I committed myself to the challenge and faithfully read a few chapters every night. Before and after I read, I would pray to my Heavenly Father, asking if what I was reading really true. Not only did I feel strong impressions from the Spirit, but just the action of reading the scriptures improved the overall course of my life. Since that experience, I've never looked back.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission in the Arkansas Little Rock Mission. I go around preaching the gospel in the Belt Buckle of the Bible Belt, sharing things that are new to everyone here, such as the Book of Mormon and all that it entails.

What is the priesthood?

The Holy Priesthood is the authority and power of God delegated unto men. I have a firm testimony of this power and I know that it can only be found in this, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I find it amazing that I can trace this Priesthood authority all the way back to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He delegated this power to His Apostles, who in turn delegated it unto others that were found worthy to hold it, including the Prophet Joseph Smith in this, the last dispensation, or the fullness of times.
