Hi I'm Curtis

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints also known as Mormons

About Me

I am in my 40's and the father of five bright, wonderful children and the husband to a beautiful wife. I enjoy the four seasons of the Rocky Mountains, participating in triathlons, traveling the world, reading business books and playing golf. I love business, technology and being an entrepreneur.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm glad whenever I am asked to share my testimony. Through hope and faith I have have come to know that God lives and that Jesus is my Savior. Through repentance and the atonement of Christ we are blessed with the opportunity to call upon the grace of the Lord to be forgiven of our mistakes. Baptism by immersion by the priesthood authority opens the door to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. These principles and ordinances of the gospel followed up with enduring to the end will hopefully qualify me for heaven along with my family.

How I live my faith

12/19/10 Today I was asked to read, on short notice, The Living Christ from the pulpit during Christmas worship services. The only time I had to review this inspired document was during the passing of the sacramental bread and water. I was again deeply moved by the gentle yet firm testimony by these special witnesses of Christ who are called to testify of His divinity before all the world. During this Christmas season, I add my personal testimony to that of others: “…that His life, which is central to all human history, neither began in Bethlehem nor concluded on Calvary.” Just before the Christmas program began, the assigned speaker entered the Chapel hall and I was temporarily relieved of my assignment, but will forever be touched by this opportunity of remembrance and recommitment. May we always remember Christ in Christmas.
