Hi I'm Craig

I'm an innovator, a pianist, and a friend. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent college grad (in business) working on projects that interest me. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing piano (especially for other people to sing), running, hiking, skiing in the winter, and reading a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church. So I never had a period of time where I wasn't praying and studying my scriptures. Like Nephi at the beginning of the Book of Mormon, I was born of goodly parents who taught me well. When I was in my early teens, I decided to pray. I mean really pray. It was late at night and I had been studying my scriptures. Afterward I went up and knelt on my bed and just opened up my heart to my Heavenly Father. The feelings of closeness that I felt then have not left me. In fact they have kept me going especially when things are tough and it seems like I am left without direction. From that experience and others similar to it, I have developed the knowledge for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I try to begin each day studying the scriptures. This grounds me and helps me prepare for work the rest of the day. I seek to live in such a way that follows the example Christ has set. In the past, I've accompanied choirs and congregations on the piano and organ. Occasionally I'll lead a discussion on a gospel topic as well during one of the hours of church.
