Hi I'm Omner

I'm part of the 5th generation of my family in the church, I'm a Graphic and Media Designer, I'm Mormon.

About Me

I have always liked to create, so I studied graphic design. I usually draw and build things of different materials and, on the other hand, I'm also a musician and amateur singer. I have also learned to program websites. Currently working on my own graphic design firm and web sites where my brother and I are partners.

Why I am a Mormon

Many would think "Im sure he believes in the Church because he was born in it ..." Is not my case. I know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church in the world that is led directly by my Savior Jesus Christ, through the Prophets and Apostles, authorized by God, and which have the pure Gospel, and ordinances necessary to return with my Heavenly Father and with my family for eternity. My true conversion began when, before I was baptized, my father, who is also a member of the Church, asked me "Why do you want to baptize? Are you sure that this is the true Church?". He knows me very well and I knew that, far from being discouraged, was lovingly challenging me to find out for myself ... and I did. Being just a boy of about eight years old, I knelt and prayed fervently to the Lord, my prayer accompanying the reading of the Book of Mormon and in that moment I knew. I'm not saying that I have seen an angel or heard something wonderful ... I just felt in my heart and I am feeling it now. It is true. And it's a feeling I can never deny.

How I live my faith

I always wondered how I could apply my gifts in service of the Church, that really worried me ... One day a friend contacted me online and she mentioned that they were forming a committee to assist in the Liahona in my country and they needed someone to take care of some simple tasks. Soon I found out that it was not as simple as I had thought. I attended the meeting planned in Mexico City. Thought see many people there, and what was my surprise to find that we were only a couple of missionaries, the media committee chairman and the friend who had contacted me. Soon I listen to the needs of the committee and the vision of it and how I could help, silently thanked the Lord for the blessing of knowing that God works in mysterious ways in the lives of their children.
