Hi I'm Dale

Grew up in Pleasant Grove UT and Mountain View WY. Married with 5 Children and 3 grandchildren. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Both my wife and I served as missionaries in the California Ventura mission back in the early 80's. I Love baseball and have taught my 4 boys and our daughter that fun game. Visiting Fenway Park was a great experience with one of my Sons. Serving the Lord in many different positions in the church is a rich experience of life. The Lord has blessed me to be a father, husband and priesthood holder and I will be forever grateful for these blessings. We look forward to serving again as a couple in the mission field when we retire. Our Testimony grows as we read the scriptures daily and as we try to live according to the word of Christ through his prophets past and present.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was growing up my family was not religious. My dad was a heavy drinker and I vowed that I would not do that to my children. My grandfather introduced me to the Book of Mormon and challenged me to read it. The Bible combined with the Book of Mormon have given me an historic view of Jesus Christ that cannot be taught anywhere except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That is why I joined this great church!

How I live my faith

My Faith starts at home with scripture study with my wife and daughter. Then I take my Faith with me to work and work on living it every minute. I am not perfect and I will make some errors in Life but I know where to turn and place my burdens of error and sin. I have served as a Sunday Children's Teacher, Quorum President, Young Men's Adviser, Bishop, Temple Worker, Youth Sports Director, High Priest Leadership and now as a teacher in Priesthood and as a Ward Clerk. Some have told me I am trying to Earn Heaven but I am just trying to Learn Heaven by faith and works. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and serving those who's heads hang down because of the storms of life.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Dale
In 1820 with a young boy by the name of Joseph Smith wanting to know which church was True and which he should join. He got his answer in a grove of tree's as he prayed. God our Father in heaven and his Son Jesus Christ visited him in that sacred grove and told him to join none of the churches but they (the Father and the Son) had a work for him to do. He then established the Church of Christ and it became The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Young boy Joseph Smith would become its first Prophet. And in my opinion a Prophet like unto Moses! Show more Show less
