Hi I'm Michelle

I am a stay at home mom with 5 kids and a great husband. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a stay home mom of 5 kids, ages 13 to 5. I love sports (watching and playing). I also like to read, sew, garden, and play with my family. I live in very small town. Almost everyone keeps animals of some kind; dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I am not an animal person. We have a cat but only because she came with the house and won't leave. I play the piano (I took lessons for 9 years when I was growing up but I'm not nearly as good as I should be) and I am teaching myself to play the violin. I can't sing to save my life but I have fun trying when I am pretty sure no one else can hear.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by excellent parents who helped me to understand the gospel. For a long time I participated in church because that is what we did. As I got older, I came to understand why. God is real and he knows and loves me. Jesus Christ is his son and he died for me. Because he atoned for my sins, I can be forgiven and live with them eternally. The best part is that I will get to share that with my family, if we all stay faithful.

How I live my faith

I play the piano in Primary, which is our organization for children ages 3 to 11. They learn songs from our Children's Songbook and our hymn book. I love being with the kids. They are enthusiastic and their faith is simple and strong. Three of my kids are in this organization and it is fun to watch them in that environment.
