Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a little person. I'm a stand-up comedian. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am one happy sheep from a flock of eight. My family has helped me by providing a loving environment to grow in which has been my strength through tough times. Many are surprised to learn that of the eight members of my family I am the only little person. When I was two weeks old I was diagnosed with achondroplasia dwarfism. This means I stand at 4'4". My parents gave me the best tool for overcoming adversity, introducing me to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a college student majoring in psychology. I love learning to understand people and what makes us all so very unique. I have a strong personality and enjoy interacting with others. I have a love for performing in front of an audience. I had the privilege of working for a broadway show for a number of years. I have since found a new stage presence as a stand-up comedian. It is rewarding for me to perform clean comedy for everyone to enjoy. When I'm goofing off I'm usually wondering around somewhere taking pictures. I love photography and capturing the details of a moment in time. I also fill my time with baking, watching old movies, collecting glass bottles, and every now and then study for school.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of His church has provided me with the tools necessary for finding true happiness. While many may view the standards I live by as a large list of strict "rules" I understand them more as covenants between me and our Father in Heaven. As I choose to follow his commandments he in return blesses my life in countless ways. By obeying His words he blesses our lives, this is a covenant. It's a two way transaction between us and Heavenly Father. His return is far greater than anything I can offer.

How I live my faith

Being in the young single adult ward I enjoy planning various activities for the members to interact with one another and grow spiritually. Aside from dances and devationals we host many activities where the members provide service to the community.
