Hi I'm Kelli

I grew up in Idaho. I LOVE BASKETBALL and Cadburys Chocolate. My family means the world to me. I am Happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho and am currently studying recreational management at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love what I am studying! I should graduate in a year! I recently returned from Scotland and Ireland where I served for 18 months as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints! I loved sharing the gospel with others and saw firsthand the happiness it brings into peoples lives. My family means the world to me! I have three older brothers who are all married! Now I have four nieces and nephews and love spending time with them! LIFE IS GOOD!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel in my life. My ancestors were converted to the church three generations back in England, Scotland, and Germany. My parents taught me about God and about Jesus Christ. I moved away from home when I was 19 years old to attend University. It was at University that I came to feel and understand my faith. I didn't have my Mom or Dad there anymore. It was up to me to participate in church. It was up to me to pray, to read my scriptures, and to attend church. I really did start thinking about things more. Prayer became more meaningful. I had learned about The Book of Mormon all of my life, but I started to truly read it and to read it more! I cannot express the peace and joy that came into my life once I started discovering the gospel for myself personally. I still had struggles and challenges, but I felt more strength and comfort during those times. I felt more happiness in my life then I had before! I didn't just know about the Gospel, but I was actively living Jesus Christs Gospel. It was then that I felt the desire to serve a mission and to share what had brought me so much joy with others! On my mission I faced a lot of opposition. One night in Belfast, Northern Ireland I knelt down on the kitchen floor in the middle of the night. I had just finished reading the entire Book of Mormon. I followed the promise given at the end of the introduction to the Book of Mormon. I had a desire to know of if That Book was the word of God. I said the most sincere prayer I have ever prayed and asked to know if it was true. God answered that prayer. It is hard to explain. It wasn't a big huge event, but very personal and powerful. I knew in my mind and heart that yes, The Book of Mormon was true! That Jesus Christs Gospel had been restored to the earth once more through the Prophet Joseph Smith. THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO ME! There is always hope and happiness ahead! Jesus Christ lives, and I know that This is His Church restored once more upon the earth today!

How I live my faith

I recently returned from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. For 18 months I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting and serving the people there. The gospel has changed my life. I wanted to share it with others because I hope that everyone can experience the peace and joy which I have experienced by coming to know Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel. I have now returned home to Idaho and continue to strive and share the gospel with others. I attend church each Sunday! Daily I read from the Scriptures and feel the strength and comfort that brings! Each day I am grateful for personal prayer. I love being able to pray to my Father in Heaven and know that He Loves me and hears me. I LOVE THE GOSPEL!
