Hi I'm Aaron

I collect oil paintings. I've adopted two beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life began when I followed our tradition of serving a two-year mission. I served the people of Colorado and Wyoming. I say served because it was mostly that; I also found a passion of teaching. Life began shortly after I married and my wife and I took a job in Brazil. For the first time we were emersed in a culture foreign to us. For the second time we learned to love a people far from home. We adopted many of their traditions as our own. Life began when we adopted our daughter, and later our son. Rather, I should say that these two little strangers adopted us and our hearts. Our family is so perfect in my eyes. Life continues because we surround ourselves with all that we find beautiful. We make our home a place where angels are welcome. We teach our children to have faith in God. We find art that emulates peace and kindness. Life is fun because we love to play. We love to travel, snorkeling, hiking, photography, and games. Our children have their own ideas of play: wrestling, skipping, crafts, and baking.

Why I am a Mormon

The LDS faith has been a part of my family identity for generations. At a young age I chose to embrase my heritage and continue the traditions of our faith. Our faith, traiditions, and community surround us with joy and helps us to live happily.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve our local congregation in several ways; teaching Sunday School, councelling with leaders, and assisting in administrative duties. I especially enjoy teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. His teaching facilitate the change of heart that leads to a life of happiness.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormons live very much like others in their community or country. We enjoy the customs, the holidays, and traditions of our neighbors. We enrich it with the best our Mormon lifestyle offers: charity, integrity, and hard work. We abstain from alcohol, we live within our means, we attend church services weekly. Show more Show less
