Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a hair stylist. I'm the oldest of 9. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 9 American born Chinese kids that don't speak any Chinese. We all speak Spanish! We've caused quite the commotion with the sheer size of our family- but it's given us the opportunity to serve in mass quantities and we live for it! I'm a mother of three and a hairdresser. I love what I do. I thoroughly enjoy reading, cooking, shopping, and living life in California.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents converted to the Church during their college years. Together, they raised the 9 of us in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Although I decided to live my teenage years a little crazy, I never once did not feel the love of my Savior. With an honest and sincere commitment to know that the Church was true, I made the decision to work hard to be a obedient daughter of my Heavenly Father and straighten my life out. Everything good I have in my life has come from making that change in my life. We are fortunate enough to have living Prophets that love and direct us in our daily lives. I know the Book of Mormon is true and we can learn and grow from it's constant teachings. I need this Church and the support it provides me. Raising my three children will require constant prayer and faith. I am grateful that this Gospel will help me and my eternal family!

How I live my faith

Currently I get to serve in my favorite place to be, the Young Women's organization, with teen girls ages 12-18. Every week I get to teach them lessons to help shape their lives (and mine as I am still learning!) We also have activities once a week to serve, grow, and of course have fun.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Natalie
The Word of Wisdom helps us live in optimal health, both physically and spiritually. By committing to abstain from tobacco, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and coffee and tea we can keep our minds clear and clean from addictions. Our body is a temple, to protect and keep strong. By following the Word of Wisdom we are blessed with all that it can offer us. Show more Show less
