Hi I'm Rick.

I was born and raised in Tennessee, but live in Northern Virginia where I raise funds for conservative causes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and my wife and I have three wonderful daughters. I've been involved in politics all my life and work professionally as a fundraiser for conservative causes and candidates. I'm also very active in the Republican Party. I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1981 at the age of 24.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was reading about the Church at the age of 24, specifically about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, I had a feeling come over me that was so powerful I stopped and literally asked myself, "What was that?" As I continued to learn about the Church, I came to realize that the feeling that came over me was a very powerful confirmation from the Spirit that what I was learning was true. From that time on, I drank in the doctrines of the Church and was baptized shortly thereafter. I have a strong testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ, of the Atonement, and of the restoration of the Gospel in these latter days. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true record of God's dealings with his people and another testament of Jesus Christ, alongside the Bible.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in an administrative position, helping to keep the records of the church in my area. Previously, I have served in just about every aspect of the Church. I especially enjoy teaching, and my favorite calling was teaching high school students before school began each morning for a school year. I also enjoy serving in the community, and currently serve as Vice Chairman of the Electoral Board in my county, where I help make sure we have free, fair, and honest elections.
