Hi I'm Don

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in South Pasadena, CA. I'm a Forensic CPA, avid surfer & enjoy riding motorcycles.

About Me

I was born in Los Angeles & lived in South Pasadena until I was twelve. I loved enjoying the outdoors especially the beaches of SOCAL. I grew up in a small, close knit, neighborhood & have wonderful memories of family & friends. My teen years were spent in the lovely beach town of Ventura where I learned to surf. I played football, basketball & track. I attended college in Utah & joined the army during the Vietnam War. I was a special agent in Army Intelligence. I am a father of three wonderful kids & an eternal companion to my wife. I have 6 grandchildren who I adore & two more on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up as a "Mormon" I first had a spiritual experience that I really had a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ when I was 12. My testimony of the Book of Mormon came to me after I read the book cover to cover in boot camp during the Vietnam War. The Gospel gives me great joy, happiness & peace in a troubled world. One of my favorite aspects is that my family & I can be together forever!

How I live my faith

I strive to be a disciple of Jesus Christ & do what he would do. I give of my time, talent & means to further his Gospel on earth. I serve as a youth leader in our Church. Our teen agers are involved in Scouting, dances, & other activities that give them service & leadership experiences. We meet at least weekly & have a lot of fun. I also volunteer in my community using the talents the Lord has blessed me with in helping others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe familes can be together forever. I can't imagine a more important concept that being with my loved ones eternally. Show more Show less
