Hi I'm Bill

My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and we have been blessed with three wonderful sons.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for almost thirty years. We met in college and I knew that she was the one that I would marry. We have three wonderful sons. Two in college and one in high school. My middle son will be going on his mission in a couple of months.

Why I am a Mormon

When our oldest child turned eight, we were preparing for his baptism. We asked him who he wanted to baptize him and he said that he wanted me to do it. I was not a member of the Church then and we explained it to him that I could not baptize him because I did not hold the Priesthood. The baptism went well, but it made me wonder what this child know with such certainty that I did not know. I began reading the Scripture and praying for confirmation of what I was reading. Praying for a confirmation that this was His church. I can still remember the day, where I was and what I was doing when the Spirit testified to me that this was the Lord's true church. I was baptized shortly after that day.

How I live my faith

Within my ward I serve in several way. I coordinate the missionary efforts in my ward, teach new members every Sunday, visit four families month to bring a spirtual message and address any needs these families have. When asked, I speak at our Sacrament meetings. I also serve in our community throught Habitat for Humanity and the Combined Federal Campaign.
