Hi I'm William

Grew up all over the place and now am a Husband and Father of 2 beautiful children. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up as a Military brat moving almost every 2 years. My parents are both converts to the church. My dad was in the Army stationed in Italy where he met my mom (she is Italian) who had recently joined the church. I am the second of 5 children. I got my Eagle Scout when I was 14 yrs old. Served a Mission in the Texas Houston East Mission Spanish Speaking. After that i moved to Arizona to get my education at the University of Arizona. I changed my degree from Areospace to Architecture. Almost finished when we got pregnant with our daughter and then our son. Life has been hard and hectic at times trying to provide for my little growing family but Heavenly Father has keep us in his hand and shown us the way to become closer to Him. I stopped college to take care of my growing family and started my own drafting and construction business.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot deny the faith in my Savior Jesus Christ. Through his healing hands and love I have been able to overcome great obstacles in my life. There was a time when through not heading the commandments I almost lost my marriage. The Savior has always stood beside me and never gave up on me. I know that regardless of the what mistakes we make in this life that the Atonement of Christ has the power to heal us if we will let Him do so.

How I live my faith

My Daughter is autistic and through our faith and efforts is very high functioning. My Son is a brilliant little scientist always experimenting with different things trying to understand why things work the way they do. My wife survived a near fatal accident with 2 loaded Semi-trucks that hit her. She has suffered from seizures ever since. Our love of the Savior and the closeness of his companionship helps us stay strong and uplifted day to day. It helps us see the good there is in all the things around us. We have survived theses difficulties with our knowledge that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. We have survived the recession with our business because of prayer and faith. I know that by paying tithing and listening to the Holy Ghost that we have been guided and protected. I know that my Father loves me and is aware of my family's needs. I know that through my diligence in following his commandments that He has granted me peace in my heart and mind.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

William
I believe that pornography is a grievous sin. Satan is tempting us each and every day yet to act on temptation is to "lust". Lusting is not about people wanting people but people wanting things. It is the act of turning someone into an object and denying them of their humanity. That is what Pornography does. It lessens that value of the people who are involved to the point of objects to be acted on. Please be very careful about how you look at this subject. It is one that can only be fully understood with the proper prayer, fasting, and revelation. Each and everyone of us are in a horrible state because of our sins. It is up to us to extend the hand of Mercy and Compassion to all who suffer. If you have not been tempted by Satan before then you do not know what it is like to suffer. Remember that such sufferings caused the Savior to tremble and shake and not want to take the bitter cup. It is a very bitter and awful cup if you do not accept the hand of the Savior and his atoning sacrifice. I know. I am grateful for the Atoning sacrifice of the Savior who looks at us as we really are, children of our Father. We are divine beings full of infinite potential. He loves us and wants to heal us so we can return to be with him. Again please tread carefully here as no one can say why one person is tempted with one sin and one another. Let us be filled with the pure love of Christ. Let us be filled with Charity. Show more Show less
