Hi I'm Marcia

I'm a mom. I'm a wife. I fix computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family--my husband and three children. Because of my love of numbers and logic, I studied computer science in College. I met my husband at a Computer Science club. We both graduated with our bachelors degrees. Then we had our first child. He continued on to get his masters degree, and I got to stay home with our daughter. Since then we have moved and have two more adorable children. I love being a mother and learning with my children. My other love is music. I play the piano and violin when I have time. There isn't a lot of that with my children around, but I do get some time to play. In my spare time I enjoy digital scrapbooking, reading, crocheting, sewing, woodworking, and of course, updating and using my computers. I have a few in my house. After all, both my husband and I are computer scientists.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I am a child of God. I know that Jesus Christ loves me. His atonement is more powerful that I can even understand. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the spirit of God touch my heart so deeply that know that this is Jesus Christ's church. I have prayed and I have received answers to my prayers. I feel peace in learning the teachings of the gospel and knowing why I'm here, where I came from and where I'm going. I feel peace because I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. God wants me to be happy and when I follow his commandments I am happy.

How I live my faith

I serve others in my community by teaching young children. I have also taught children songs about Jesus and other faith promoting songs. I also visit women in my community and try to do all I can to help them.
