Hi I'm Crystal

College grad, wife, mother, teacher, geneologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I put my self through college as may parents had many finiacial hardships growing up, though they helped when they could. I worked hard, saved a lot and studied even more to make sure I kept all my scholarships. I fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a teacher and taught 4th grade for one year while expecting my first child and putting my husband through school. Now, I teach my daughter how to eat with out making a mess, say prayers and use the potty. I also teach others how to do their geneology, find their ancestors and connect with them for eternity

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, but that is not why I am one. I'm a Mormon because I prayed, read and learned for myself that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. He answered my prayers. Not, a loud voice or a huge miricale, but by small and simple daily things. (Hind sight is always 20/20) As I looked back on my life, I new the Lords hand had been there guiding me and I could not deny it. I am grateful for my mother's teaching me and providing me with true principals that led me to find my own testimony of this church in high school.

How I live my faith

Daily with every diaper I change and book I read to my little girl. I believe that I must teach her all I can about truth and righteousness before she turns eight and Satan can tempt her. There is so much in the world today that goes against my beliefs this is why I gave up my 4th grade teacher status, to be a mom and teach my own children everyday to be like Jesus. On, Sundays I teach family history to others at church and help them connect with their anccestors like I have with mine.
