Hi I'm Carson Loder

I'm a convert, an equestrian, and a missionary serving in the Lyon, France mission.

About Me

In 2009 I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am currently taking a break from equestrian and studying psychology at Brigham Young University in Utah to serve a full time mission for the Church in Lyon, France!

Why I am a Mormon

God loves us so much and this knowledge changed my life. Every day I see how the blessings of being a Mormon make me a better person. I have seen endless love from those around me and I know that this Gospel really makes a difference in the lives of those willing to follow Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Serving as a missionary constantly allows me to live my faith. I study the French language and the Gospel every single day in order to help those I will teach learn about Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Carson Loder
The Gospel really is a beautiful thing. One of the first things that caught my attention were these proxy baptisms. Those who lived here on earth and didn't have the opportunity to hear the Gospel for themselves can still have a chance to accept it because of the work performed by the Saints in temples. We, as members, have the opportunity to seek out these names and help those who need us. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, and we know He is merciful and fair to all His children. He wants all of us to receive the blessings of baptism and return to Him, and we can help those who did not have that chance. Show more Show less
