Hi I'm Karlee

I'm a wife, I'm a law student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband and a furry little cat. I'm in my 3rd and final year of law school. I'm busy but happy. In my free time I enjoy running, biking, reading, and watching TV.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't imagine my life any other way. My religion brings me happiness, comfort, knowledge, and perspective. When I go to church, life makes sense. When I don't, I feel confused and detached. Each day as I pray, God helps me understand a little more about his plan for me. I know that being Mormon is part of the plan, just like I know that God loves me and loves each of you.

How I live my faith

Each morning I read the Book of Mormon and pray with husband over a bowl of cereal. I get ready and head out the door for another day of law school. During the day I often say a prayer in my heart for help with school or guidance on how to help a friend. In the evening, I read my scriptures and pray with my husband before falling asleep (my favorite pass-time). On Sundays, I teach Sunday School to a rambunctious group of 12-14 year olds. I love spending time with them, and I'm so impressed by their courage to do what is right. I recently joined the choir, and I'm doing my best to hide the fact that I can't sing.
