Hi I'm Stu, how do you do?

I am a member of THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS

About Me

I joined The Church 30 years ago when I was 25 years old. I love antique motorcycles and classic cars that I restore in my spare time. My family has top priority before anything else and I love spending time with them. I raised 6 kids and now have 6 grandchildren. I love riding my 1930 Harley Davidson with a sidecar and I love driving my 1967 Mustang convertible that I have owned for 36 years. I have been single now for 10 years, I would really love to have a girlfriend. I want to be married in the Temple for time and all eternity. I want to find my soul mate and with her try our best to live a Celestial Life in The New and Everlasting Covenant, so we will be sealed together and live with our Heavenly Father and Mother in the Celestial Kingdom and also with our Savior Jesus the Christ infinitely.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined The Church because it is "The True Gospel Of Jesus The Christ" restored back to the Earth with all the necessary keys to allow us to return to our Heavenly Father through obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank my Heavenly Father for allowing me to live at this time, in this place, to find out truths and build my testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ, the living Son of our Father in Heaven, the Savior of the world and all mankind who has ever lived or will live upon the Earth. I believe with all my heart that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through Joseph Smith "The Prophet" back to the Earth. I love The Gospel, our living Prophet President Monson, all people on the Earth and pray that all people will have the opportunity to learn the truths of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and to have the happiness and peace that I feel and want to share with anyone who wants it too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving my neighbor as myself and doing unto others as I would like them to do unto me. Doing is an action word as is faith, without practicing love and doing for others we are not living our faith in Jesus. He lived his life totally in service and love for his friends and neighbors, unto the ultimate sacrifice with his life. Jesus is our example on how we should try to live and practice our faith because faith precedes the miracle and miracles happen everyday.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Stu, how do you do?
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, we believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and the most perfect book on earth. I love the Bible and I thank God that it has come forth from such a long history. I love the Old Testament stories and the Words of Christ in the New Testament. It goes hand in hand with the Book of Mormon as prophesied in Ezek.37:16-20 I thank God for all the scriptures that testify of Jesus and I will never understand why men would not want to read words that testify of our True Living God for they are words that give us faith in our True Living God that we may return to Them. What is a ward/stake/branch?

Stu, how do you do?
My ward/stake is like a big family to me, whom I almost all know by name and whom all care about me the same as I care about them. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

Stu, how do you do?
We should all have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ, that He loves us so much He was willing to die for us. Without faith in Jesus Christ we are lost sheep with no shepherd, scattered abroad, and prey to evil works and wickedness because of Satan. All people from birth are given the Spirit of Christ, known as our conscience to know what is right and what is wrong, this is a free gift to all ever born. The gift of The Holy Ghost is given after baptism into the Church to help us progress towards Heavenly treasures, to Temple ordinances and ultimately back to our Heavenly Father and Mother and their Son Jesus to live with forever and ever, which is a very long time compared to how fast and short our lives are now. With faith in Jesus and good works we are like Jesus, who did all things for His Father, to glorify His Father and to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Show more Show less
