Hi I'm Toetu

I'm a Proud Father of 5 girls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Proud Husband and Father of five beautiful girls. And as of this year, I've been able to spend a lot more time with them as an unemployed, Stay at Home Father. I plan to go back to school, knowing the importance of an education in the work place. And attempt to stay somewhat fit by playing the sports that I love, Rugby and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I've experienced much in this life I've lived thus far. Most of which I felt was in the dark not knowing and understanding my purpose. Life itself just felt repetitive. Going through the same routine day in and day out. Trying to fill that confusion with earthly substances that only seemed to make things worse. Even as a father that depression seemed to overpower the excitement of being a Dad. And over time, I found myself lost in the thick of darkness with no light to be found. And like many in similar situations, I turned to prayer, begging for a little bit of help. Because many of my friends were already members of the church, I knew quite a few things about it. And with that I read the Book of Mormon and asked those friends more about the church. And to finally understand purpose, gave me that "Exceedingly Great Joy" as I partook of this Gospel. I testify that with Purpose and Understanding we find Light and Love. Knowing why we're here gives us that desire to seek that Happiness in this life but to also prepare for that which is much greater in the next. I'm grateful for the Gospel which is designed to comfort our every need, so that we may always live in that Light of His Love rather than the Depression of Darkness. These things i testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

How I live my faith

I have a calling in which I get to work with brethren my age. We do many service project where we help families move in and out of the area. And learn new things as we help families with home and car repairs. Many of us helped clean our area Schools for a community service project. But I'm truly grateful for the relationships we make as we're able to go into the homes of the families we Hometeach. A great feeling to have as we try to serve as our Savior did.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes!! If you can't see it in our name (The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints), then know it in our belief that Our Savior Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone of our Religion. That he suffered and died for our sins, so that we can return to live with Our Father in Heaven again. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. Gratitude is a more appropriate word to use for the man who was chosen to restore the Gospel in these Later Days. Just as I am grateful for John the Baptist and his preparing of the Savior's coming, I'm thankful for Joseph Smith's desire to know Truth that gave us this opportunity to know of it as well. Why is family so important to Mormons?

To be able to have a family in this Life is a great blessing. But to know that you can be with your family for All Time and Eternity is an even greater blessing. something I hold dear as a member of this church. Show more Show less
