Hi I'm Emilee

I am a mother, and a business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 3 sweet children. My husband and I own 3 small businesses which he runs. I work a little at home to help with these businesses, but primarily spend my time having tea parties and doing dishes. :) I absolutely love being a mother! Of course I have hard days, but getting the tight hugs and sweet kisses and especially the "I love you mommy" phrases make every hard moment more than worth it! I also love to dance. My husband and I own a dance studio and love to dance together. We compete in the country dance circuit and LOVE it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a Mormon family and while I was younger, I was a Mormon because that is how I was raised. However, through a slow process of continually trying to live the principles of the gospel, I have come to know for myself that this is the true church and that living by it's teachings brings peace and happiness that I have not found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I lead and work with the women in my ward. This group of women consists of any woman 18 or older: married, single, older, younger, middle aged, mothers, widowers, etc. I along with 3 other women set up activities outside of church meetings to help those we work with have opportunities to serve, learn more about the gospel, learn self reliance skills and many other useful and enjoyable things. We work to make sure that every woman in our ward is looked after and taken care of, especially during times of trial or change.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Emilee
As a mormon, I believe that each person on the earth is a Son or Daughter of God. I believe that we were each sent here with a specific purpose and plan for each of our lives individually and that God will help us to discover that plan. In discovering our personal purpose on this earth, we will have trials, learn and grow closer to our Father in Heaven. The more we are tested, learn and overcome, the more we become as He is. I believe the purpose of this life is to be tested, to grow and learn so that eventually, in the eternities, we can become as God is. Show more Show less
