Hi I'm Zach

I'm a volleyball player. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Northern California and I love it! I am currently serving a full time mission in Georgia and it has been going great. I took two semesters at BYU-Idaho before a came out on my mission and I don't know what I am going to study. I love to play volleyball and I am hoping to make something out of it and I also love to play the Saxophone! I am a music freak! I have been to numerous competitions with my high school band program throughout the country and I couldn't ask for anything better! I love to have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life, I have noticed a change in my heart and the hearts of others as they have come closer to Christ through His church. I grew up in the church in a wonderful family of five and I have noticed how happy a family can be in this life and the life to come through the Mormon church. I have a firm Testimony that the Gospel blesses families and that we can be together with our families forever. It wasn't until my teenage years in which I actually got on my knees and prayed to know if this church is true and I got an answer that it is. God loves each and every one of us and He knows us by name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can return to live with Him. The church just simply teaches you to be a good person and to follow Christ and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every single day of my life by doing the Lord's work as a full time missionary for the church. I have previously lived my faith by serving others of my age back home through youth groups and planning things for my fellow youth. I try my absolute best to serve other people when the opportunities arise.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormon's are most definately Christians. The actual name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that He loves us and that it is only through Him that we can return to live with God. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

God saw fit in the 1800's to bring about a revelation pertaining to health and our well being called the Word of Wisdom which included the drinking of these things. Studies have shown that these three things are not good for our bodies and since our bodies are a gift from God, we should take care of it. God does really know what is and isn't good for us before we find it out through science. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Here is what you do, you look for two guys in white shirts walking around, riding their bikes, or any where else and go talk to them! They will be very happy to talk to you about the church! They wear black name tags and ties! They are hard to miss! Or just talk to people! I am almost positive there are members of the church within a 5 mile radius of where you live! They will also be more than happy to share the message! Show more Show less
