Hi I'm Cassie

I am a faithful LDS woman who uses the tools of this gospel in my life daily to help me to be the person I want to be.

About Me

I am a divorce with four children, three of which have special needs (one bipolar, one autism, and one low tone & arthritis). I have survived cancer, car accidents, bad relationships, 3 brain surgeries, & a brain infection. It is not by chance that I use the gospel in my life daily. It helps me to deal with my life! I try to live my faith daily to show my children who I am and what I believe. I am currently disabled and in school full time to try to turn my associate degree in nursing into a family nurse practitioner. If I can do it, I will be able to work in a family clinic. I will continue to do all that I can to follow my HF's instruction and help my family and friends while I remain here on this earth. There will be a day when I hope to return to my home in Heaven, but until then I remain God's humble servant.

Why I am a Mormon

I am LDS because I have a strong belief in God and his Son, our brother, Jesus Christ and the plan that was set out for us to return to live with them. I know that on the days that I don't think I can deal with the kids or my health or stress in my life for another moment w/o loosing my temper or cool He gives me peace. Having special needs children makes keeping my cool essential so that I can do everything I can to meet their needs. He gives me the strength to deal with anything that may come my way. He is my Savior day to day not just on our judgement day.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a regular basis and read the scriptures daily. I try to take what I learn and use it in my daily life. I go out of my way to help all of my bothers and sisters here on this earth whether they are LDS or not. I love to sing in the chior and help with all activities.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

We make sacred covenents in the Temple with Heavenly Father just as the Isrealites did in the Old Testament. I am able to shed my worldly cares and commune with my Heavenly Father. I am able to pray and ask for guidance as to my path in this life and guidance for my family. I am so grateful for this ability to recharge my batteries before stepping back out into the world.
