Andrea: Mormon.

Hi I'm Andrea

About Me

I'm a wife, mother, and business owner. I stay very busy, and sometimes I wonder why there aren't 30 hours in a day! I was a makeup artist for a long time, then got divorced. During this hard time in my life, I needed something that would give me the confidence to make it on my own, so I decided to open my own hair salon. I love owning a business. It allows me to help so many people and to know such a wide variety of people that I would not meet otherwise.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Mormon Church because I feel the love of my Savior. I have gone through hard trials, and through my trials, I have realized his love for me on an individual level. I know that He understands the things that I have gone through, and He has shown to me that He knows who I am, that He loves me, and that he is willing to bless my life if I am willing to do what He asks of me. I know that the Mormon Church has provided this path for me, and that without living by its teachings, I would not be able to have such a deep knowledge, or such a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Personal Stories

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

The Holy Ghost has lead me to do many things that I normally would not do. One experience that I had recently was with one of my employees. I had an employee approach me, saying that she needed to work extra hours. I had plenty of employees working for the Saturday that she was requesting the extra hours, but the Holy Ghost influenced me to allow her to work anyway. I scheduled her for the extra hours, and it ended up being one of our busiest Saturdays in months. I was very grateful that I listened because it blessed not only her life, but mine as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the young girls that live in my area. I have the pleasure of working with the 12 and 13 year old girls. We have such a good time together, planning and carrying out activites that they enjoy. I get to help teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ. I get to help them learn to lead, learn to get along with each other, and learn to trust themselves and their Savior. I also have the opportunity to visit with some of the other women that live in my area. I visit them at their home and deliver a message intended to uplift them and help them come closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
