Hi I'm Danielle.

I'm a water polo player. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a California girl currently serving as a missionary in Colorado. I previously attended college where I studied Ecology & Environmental Science. I adore orca whales and thrive in the water. I love to play water polo, swim, kayak, and play outside.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents, raised me in such a way that I knew the Church was true. Sure, I had my own conversion and I found out for myself that this was the true Church but without their example, none of that would've happened. Growing up in an area without many members of the Church, I've had to learn to stand up for what I believe in even when it tough. To me, being a Mormon isn't just about going to church and doing what's right, it's about being happy and this church truly does bring happiness. Understanding that the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored has allowed me to understand that it is through that gospel that I can continue to be better each day and also to draw closer to my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I know that God does answer prayers and that He loves me as any father loves their child. He wants the best for me and so He has given us the means so that we can find joy and return to live with Him and our families again.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I spend my days helping others to increase their faith in Jesus Christ. I love the opportunity that I have to influence others for good and help them to find the same joy that I've found in my life. While sometimes life is hard, I know that through the gospel, we are able to understand our course more fully and the answers to lifes hard questions ("Why am I here?", "Where am I going?", etc) are answered and we are given the purpose that we need to get through hard times. My previous experience learning at a Church school has helped me to better understand how the gospel and secular subjects are truly related. We are able to understand how the things that we learn will better help us in the world but also help us to go on throughout life as disciples of Christ.
