Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a tennis player. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Utah. I am the oldest of three girls. I grew up loving sports, especially tennis. I was always looking for someone to play with! Right now I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before I left to serve a full time mission in Michigan, I was working on my bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders so I can become a Speech-Language Pathologist. After my mission, I plan on going back to school and finishing my degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it completes my life. My parents are active members of the church and have taught me how to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I follow Jesus Christ, more happiness comes into my life. I have more energy throughout the day. Answers to my prayers often come while I am living Christ's gospel. My family has been more unified as we all have made efforts to follow Jesus Christ. Christ's Atonement is real. I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me more happiness, love, joy, and peace than anywhere else!

How I live my faith

Faith is something that has always been more on the abstract side of things in my mind. It hasn't been until recently that I have come to realize that we can show our faith by the way we live. If we are willing to do everything we can to become more like Jesus Christ, we are developing our faith. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary for the Church. I will serve for the next 18 months of my life in Michigan. I teach people who are searching for the fullness of Christ's gospel. I love seeing how living the gospel of Jesus Christ truly changes people's lives, including my own!  That is definitely one way I live my faith. Before I reported to serve a full-time mission, I would always make the effort to read from the scriptures, pray morning and evening, and live the 10 commandments as recorded in the Bible. Living my faith is something that comes easily to me because my faith has become so much of who I am.
