Hi I'm Nate

I am a College football player, aspiring actor, oldest son/brother of 4 and proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I love living life. My family helped me become who I am today. I am very blessed and fortunate to have my family and all that they do for me. I am kind of curious and outgoing person that loves to learn new things. It also helps when you are the oldest of 3 younger brothers that are just growing by the second. I think its fun to meet new people because there is no one person that has done it all. Because everyone has a different view on life and how things can be worked ya know. I breathe, eat and sleep sports. I am currently playing football for a Junior College in Southern California. Sports is the way I relieve my stress and easier to stay in shape.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was born and raised in the church and my mother converted at a young age. I was also born into the church and was baptized at the age of 8. It wasn't really til later on in my life when I truly found out that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I had to pray to know if what I have learned my whole life is true. And I received an answer from the Holy Ghost saying that it was true. The answer I received was just a warm feeling that overcame. I know that it was shown to me because I had a DESIRE to know if it was true. I know if someone truly seeks to know if what we share and claim to be true they can and will know it is true. I have a lot of family that are not members of the church and so growing up I have been exposed to many other different denominations. So I just didn't know about the church that I grew up in. I know that this is the Church that Jesus Christ himself set up. I witness that we are led by a living Prophet today, President Thomas S.Monson. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I witness that God loves all of His children and knows each and every one of us and I am truly grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the Young Men in my ward. It is so rewarding for me and enjoy my calling very much. Because I was once a young man and it was fun for me. So I try to take some of my experiences and share that with the Young Men of the ward. I am also what you call a Return Missionary, I just recently returned home from the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was the best thing I could have done and the BEST TWO YEARS OF MY LIFE THUS FAR. It was awesome going out and meeting new people and hearing their testimony on Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It was an opportunity that I am glad that I took and one I will never forget. It has really help change my life FOREVER. I still to this day go out with the missionaries at home and go about inviting others to come unto Christ. Again just an overall AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and an instrument used by God in the restoration of Jesus Christ's church upon this earth again. I know that he was a prophet of God, and just by a simple prayer he was called to be a Prophet. We do not worship Joseph Smith but we recognize him as a Prophet. Joseph Smith was a man of faith, dedication, love, but most importantly a man of God. I know that he saw God our Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ. And you can know for yourself, just ask God he was there. And as you ask with faith, real intent really wanting to know and acting on what you know then you will receive an answer. Because I have received an answer as well. Show more Show less
